Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of Sapyora (the “Service”), available at sapyora.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service does
Sapyora turns publicly available YouTube videos into structured knowledge articles — enriched summaries, principles, mental models and key ideas — using AI. You provide a video link; we generate an article from its transcript.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country.
3. Membership, credits and payments
Creating an account is free and lets you browse the public example library. Processing videos requires an annual membership of €12/year, which includes 1,200 credits at every annual payment — the full value of your payment, returned as credits.
Processing consumes credits in proportion to the video's length and our real AI cost; an estimate is shown before you start, and if processing fails, the credits are refunded automatically. You can buy additional one-time credit packs at any time. Credits (included and top-up) are valid for 12 months from the date they are granted.
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record — they are the seller of record and handle VAT/sales tax. Your card details never reach us.
The membership renews automatically once a year. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; you keep access until the end of the period already paid. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your membership payment — request it via the billing portal or by writing to us. There are no hidden charges: prices are always shown before you pay.
4. Acceptable use
You may only submit links to videos you are legally allowed to access. Do not use the Service for unlawful content, to infringe others’ rights, to overwhelm or abuse the system, or to resell the output as if it were an official transcript or endorsement of the original creator.
You are responsible for the links you submit and for how you use the generated articles.
5. Intellectual property
The underlying videos and their content belong to their respective creators and rights holders. Generated articles are derivative study notes created for your personal learning and are provided for that purpose. The Service, its software, design and branding belong to us.
Articles you generate are associated with your account; you may read, edit and share them via the features we provide.
6. AI-generated content
Articles are produced automatically by AI and may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations. They are not professional, medical, legal, financial or other expert advice. Always verify important information against the original source.
7. No affiliation with YouTube
Sapyora is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. “YouTube” is a trademark of Google LLC.
8. Third-party services
The Service runs on third-party infrastructure, including Supabase (database and authentication), Google Gemini (AI processing), Fly.io (processing workers), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Lemon Squeezy (payments, as Merchant of Record), Sentry (error monitoring) and PostHog (analytics, only with your consent). Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy and on the Sub-processors page.
9. Availability and changes
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
12. Contact
